If you want to engage
in graduate studies
of advanced Alchemy,
you must be willing to
make the journey to
the capital of Magick,
a city of masks
and of make believe.
Not one single road
leads directly there.
No companions allowed.
You must go it alone,
picking your path
through lonely mountains.
You must find the way
that is not a way.
You can’t even apply
until you arrive.
Incantatory illumination
does not come cheap.
Your student debt
will include your heart,
your everything, your all,
but imagine how proud
your parents will be to
see your invisible diploma
hanging like a noose
on an enchanted wall.
