I Focus So Hard I Don’t Notice the Rave

My focus is intense.

People try to break my focus because they think life is all fun and games. This is serious, people.

People poke at me; they shout to distract me.

Tap me on the shoulder and call me names.

They hack my computer; sneeze on me.

Why are all these strangers in the apartment?

I left the front door open.

They’re just wandering in because they heard how amazing my focus is.

I don’t even notice them, my girlfriend tells me afterwards when she finds hundreds of people inside the apartment dancing to techno music with a smoke machine.

Didn’t notice. I was getting my work done.
