I Hold Hidden Gems

Cloudy days
Hint of rain
Rolling thunder
In my veins
I feel alive
On peaks too
High to breathe
Lungfuls of effort
Getting nowhere
Still, I stand
Gazing out
At basins full of beauty
Streaming tears
That slip
Down
Down
Down
And

Drop

Melding with
Crystalline waters
Transcending in vapors
Feeding the heavens
Becoming a part
Of everything
Soaked into the earth
Nutrients to the
Evergreens at my feet
Through these
I am infinite
Cracks filled with
Dirt, leaves, rain
Roots entangle my heart
In this moment
I am healed
