In A World of Love and Lies

In a world of hate and lies
where you are right and I am wrong
on both sides of the coin
we can both be losers
or we can both be winners
or we can both walk away from the toss
and leave it in the dirt
unobserved

Injustice rolls around again
and the glowing orange sunset sky
is just as beautiful as the pink of sunrise on the blue

Let’s all wake up from last night’s sleep
and wipe the sweat of sweet dreams or nightmares away

If you feel like a winner you won
If you feel like a loser you lost
If you’re still in the game
you’re still in the game
Lick your wounds or claim your prize
In a world of love and lies
