Life! Let’s Fight!

I got drenched in the rain today
And my makeup caked
My tear stains are showing
And my mask got torn
My armour’s showing a chink
And am feeling weak and tired too
I know am strong but am exhausted today.

But Life, if you think you have got me
Let just tomorrow come.

I will sleep off early today
And I will have my little cry
I will hug my baby to sleep
And tomorrow I will be all fine.
I will look you in the eye
And fight you blow for blow
And when you stop to take some rest
I will say, “Let’s fight some more.”
