Night Sky

What do you see in a night’s sky?
Pin holes in Heaven’s floor so high.
Or clockwork that the steadiest of hand or best of eye could not recreate the beauty on high.

Do you see a dance among the stars or composition of music to melt the coldest of heart.

Can you see hope or change for all the Earth
Or God himself behind the beauty of His work.

Or is this thing above out of reach,
from the push and shove and lack of love.
The world today has forgotten.

What would you give for a moment’s glimpse?

Any price is worth the chance to see the dance and song,
Clockwork and chaos and
piece of Heaven, God on throne.

Many die with a life filled from this worldly high but missed all the beauty in a Night’s Sky.
