Where does the time go? It is always on a mission. It never stops to take a break but at the same time, if you ever need it to go faster, out of pure spite, it will slow its stride just enough to piss you off.

It wanders in and out of alleyways, between buses and cars, shoves past those that always want more but never take the time to enjoy what they have.

In the meadows, you can see children try to catch it, chasing it like the breeze. I can’t blame them, who would want such a lovely summer to ever end?

It takes a moment to stop by a hilltop wedding, allowing them a few extra moments to capture their love but then quickly back to duty.

Those who want it can’t have it, those who need it are sometimes lucky enough to be gifted a little more, but the one’s who don’t want anymore than what they already have are the ones who get the most.
