For silence is louder than words
If it’s too still around here
Then my heart will be heard
Screaming so loud it will wake up the world
So please, keep up with the noise
For my soul can’t bear the weight of what’s been destroyed
That pain hides safely behind a wall of quiet
If I touch it again my goddess will cry a riot
So I drive fast, I am the pilot
Can’t risk hearing the silence

Protecting my pain
Is my ultimate defiance
