Spiral

Uncontrolled,
moving at an inconceivable pace,
one that you did not anticipate —
Halt.

Spiraling,
within your reach one minute,
but out of it the next —
Hold.

Withdraw,
but you are in too deep,
or so you think—
Control.

Expand,
when the walls of your being are,
collapsing with each breath—
Begin.

Capture,
the essence of what you want,
the taste you want to be left behind —
Extract.

Release,
inhibitions that do not contribute,
but restrict you —
Explore.

Think,
before you step in,
before you are swallowed in —
Pause.

Understand,
consequences that you,
will have to fight —
Restrict.

Balance,
want and need,
pay attention to the latter —
Reflect.

Resist,
things that have
an expiration on them —
Leave.

Feel,
make every moment count,
nothing matters more than now —
Experience.

Prioritize,
draw the line,
between right and wrong —
Follow.

Excerpts,
mental pictures of the past,
don’t help with the present —
Delete.

Shut,
doors that inflict pain,
that make you doubt yourself —
Escape.

Forget,
things that disrupt your peace,
there’s nothing more precious —
Remove.

Traps
are everywhere,
don’t fall into them blindly —
Fight.

Tomorrow,
will take of itself
before it does —
Endure.

Follow,
your heart
and nothing else —
Believe.

Yesterdays,
will remain buried,
no matter what you do —
Release.

Now,
is all you have,
before it becomes history —
Live.

Thrive,
breathe,
don’t live to survive —
Strive.
