The Lost Drawer

My Mind — My Life

All the clutter
of a lifetime:

lost loves, pieces of
a broken heart, smiles
of friends since gone,
marriage, children,
jobs, cars, houses,
shards of dreams,
various rainbows, sunsets,
thunderstorms, poems
(never to be finished),
the chaos of battle,
squandered opportunities,
misplaced lusts,
the best orgasms,
the deepest kisses,
the worst disappointments,
betrayals, dashed hopes,
many resurrections,
bundles of broken promises,
endless other artifacts,
large and small.

The very messy drawer
of a very messy man,
rarely opened anymore.
