Together
we are always as close to the future as we can possibly be
constantly on the brink of the unknown
absolutely all of us share in that reality
none of us know what’s going to happen
that makes us all equal
equal in our ignorance
in our inability to be truly prepared
comparable in our stupidity
we all live in the dark
nobody knows
but everybody grows
we are all snowballs in an ever proliferating avalanche of existence
one single entity
hurtling through the darkness towards the all knowledgeable light
at the speed of nothing
what if the light goes out before we get there?
what if it is merely an illusion?
fabricated by our collective mind to shelter us from the truth
that we are the darkness
the light is a mirror
when the avalanche subsides we become still
at one again with the cosmos
