Bill blinked, grimaced, then blinked again for good measure. Unfortunately, despite the blinking, quite a lot of thinking, and several fervent prayers, he was still tied to a chair, gagged, and looking at a room full of grouchy but boisterous tots dressed in full camo gear and armed to their tiny milk teeth.

Perhaps if they’d had their naps it would be possible to get through to them, but the nap…
