Unbelievable, what they say
and where they place the blame.

But there were warnings: facts and studies
Put out there months before.

The scientists who said this thing was real -
Why were they not heard?

The doctors who are trained to help -
Why would they be against you?

And when this thing is over
Who will you trust then?

One hundred thousand people
Gone.
“They were old anyway.”

And of course, in these families,
“It was their time to go. God wanted them.”
