Robert Rinder: I think that this paso to a Gaga song that doesn’t really have any paso doble style drama or dynamics is the first time he’s been in danger. That being said, he’s possibly opening the show and being lowered from the ceiling dressed as a moth (standard) and he’s got a voting bloc behind him, so he’ll probably be fine.

Paso doble? Paso no-ble.

Greg Rutherford: As someone who was in all manner of cheesy student rock clubs in the early noughties, I’ve bellowed along to Bring Me To Life often enough to think that a nice, wafty rumba is an appropriate dance to do to it. Hopefully whatever ghastly costume that Greg ends up in will make him feel comfortable enough to really commit to the rumba. I want Natalie to be kept happy, but I feel like Greg might be needing his fierce voting bloc to save him again this week.

Anastacia: The question is, which two minutes of Bat Out Of Hell is she going to be jiving to? It’s eight and a half minutes of total genius! Still, it looks like they’re going to be dressed as bats — I’d have gone with a slightly sexier demonic biker theme, but your mileage may vary. I expect Brendan and Ana to be giving it laldy, and although I’m not sure that her technique will be up to some of the other jives we’ve seen this series, the general gusto with which they attack it might get them through. If Daisy isn’t closing the show with her paso, I’d be tempted to give this the closing slot.

Louise Redknapp: Hopefully we’ll get to see plenty of fun, excitement and character in Louise’s Charleston to the version of Crazy In Love that Emile Sande did for the Great Gatsby soundtrack. Fingers crossed.

Ed Balls: A cha cha cha to Love Potion №9 doesn’t sound like it can go that catastrophically wrong, does it? The only way that Ed is in trouble this week is if this number turns out to be boring.

Ore Oduba: Tonight’s other charleston to Bow Wow Wow’s I Want Candy. I expect this to be a really good performance, even if Ore has been complaining about not getting his swivel action. Watch out for the moments when Ore looks right down the camera, which were somewhat missing last week.

Daisy Lowe: This has the potential to be cracking. We love to see a Paso done to actual latin sounding music, and the disco version of Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood totally counts, and it looks like Daisy is going to be going for a more Dia de los Muertos look rather than a ghoulish orange/green/purple USA Halloween look. If the producers think they can get away with giving her the closing slot tonight, she’s got no need to worry about any further dance off nonsense.

Danny Mac: The combination of Oti’s intense choreography, Danny’s skill and the gothic romance of Hozier’s song makes this our first prospect for an exciting Foxtrot! I’m expecting brilliance. But NO. TENS. TILL BLACKPOOL.

Claudia Fragapane: I can’t work out how they’re going to make this Little Mix song, Black Magic, into an American smooth. For all Claudia’s dance ability and to do gymnastic tricks alongside, I think she could potentially be in trouble here.

Laura Whitmore: Another victim of the semi-random allotment of ‘tango’ to any vaguely rock-sounding song. Also, she’s going to be dressed as Mrs Death, so there’s the potential that she’ll have a hood up and be unable to make eye contact with the audience who didn’t see her last week. Plus she looked like she was hurting a lot in training. I don’t want to have her in the dance off, but it might go that way.

And finally, the big spooky pro group number this week is going to be to You Spin Me Round. With the passing of Pete Burns this week, this has been spun round into a tribute number. Let’s enjoy that song one more time.
