Hamilton at the Kennedy Center

We are so excited to have announced that Hamilton will be a part of the Kennedy Center’s 2017–18 Theater season. We are equally thrilled to confirm that the run will take place from mid-June through mid-September 2018, for an engagement of 14 weeks.

Let us reassure you, we want to share Hamilton with as many people as possible.

We understand that there are concerns regarding access to tickets and wanted to address those as best we can. You’ve probably read the term “full theater subscription” quite a bit over the past few days, and while full season subscribers are first in line for tickets (more on that below), there will be single tickets available for Kennedy Center members and the general public.

“Let us reassure you, we want to share Hamilton with as many people as possible.”

In the coming year, we will keep you informed about the single ticket on-sale dates, as well as other opportunities to secure seats. Following us on social media is a great way to stay informed of these key dates.

We want to thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and feedback in response to this announcement. We are listening. Your passion is a testament to the enduring power of art. It’s our mission to share that power, to move audiences, and help build the next generation of art-makers and supporters.

Having a 2016–17 subscription is the best way to guarantee seats for any show, and Hamilton is no different. Renewal priority has always been a subscriber benefit, and that hasn’t changed.

Full subscriptions in 2016–17 go on sale next Wednesday, May 18 and come in two varieties — “Broadway Blockbusters” or “Dazzling Dramas.” The Broadway series includes 8 performances and comes with renewable seats (i.e. you’ll be seated in the same locations for all of your 2016–17 shows and you are able to renew those exact seats in the 2017–18 season). The Drama series allows you to choose 5 of our play offerings, but does not include fixed locations. Subscribers to either full series will be able to renew into the 2017–2018 Broadway series, which includes tickets to Hamilton.
