Artist is the definition for everyone who creates something from nothing or something better from somethiing good. It may be a writer, a parent, a visual artist, a freelancer, or a programmer.

Whatever you do, as long as you feel like you are creating something new or better every day, you are an artist. If this piece resonates with you and helps you create better work, then you are truly an artist.

It is a manifesto for the master on you. The motivation for the average among us. And possibly an inspiration for the fearful artist.
Whichever one you are, you are welcome.

Who is a Hobbyist?

It is everything opposite what this piece explains. Both the hobbyist and the artist do or create things for personal fulfillment, the artist ship but the hobbyist does not.

The hobbyist process is the means to an end. If you are one, you have no obligation to share your work with the world because you didn't create or do it for anyone. The product or the play is a dead-end who satisfies and you alone.

The part of sharing and connection is lost because there is no generosity to do anything for anyone that needs help.
