Godzilla Minus 1 — Minus the usual Japanese acting would have been even better.

Good FX though.

The hysterical and confusing Japanese acting reaches a point where it is just plain irritating. I repeat, frustratingly irritating! Chris Tucker was so right in explaining how the Japanese react to Godzilla in one of the “Rush Hour” series.

The FX is really good. So many movies coming out of other countries are matching or even surpassing Hollywood’s special FX and at costs one tenth or even lesser than what is being spent in Hollywood that even Hollywood may outsource (probably they already are) special FX services from other countries. Best to watch it on bigger T.V screen and even better if you had a subwoofer and a surround system.

Watch it for the FX. It did win the Oscar for the same in 2024.
