The disgusting climax throws away all the good that came before it.

Spoiler Alert! I am divulging it because it is so disgusting you could save your precious time not watching this movie. All goes fine till the movie reaches its final moments. By this time, it is revealed that the protagonist’s wife had been cheating on him and in the process becomes pregnant. She commits suicide leaving behind a note mentioning she is pregnant with the child of her illicit lover and that she is remorseful of being unfaithful. Protagonist chops her body, removes the foetus, cooks and feeds the illicit lover, letting him know what he has consumed only after he has eaten that stuff. Can it get more disgusting that this?

Such stories apart from vitiating the already sick minds of the viewers is only showing how degraded the thinking of our societies have become. Human minds are becoming more cruel, more grisly, more unforgiving, more barbaric and more of all the evil that there can be. How poorly we evolve and simultaneously claim that we are progressing. On the other hand, we are regressing in our thinking.

The movie could have certainly been a winner if only this disgusting bit had been avoided. The protagonist was going to kill him anyway but why this bit? The movie incidentally has bagged the Kerala State Award for best debut director.
