Pulimada — Mallus do it yet again!
Mallus can start their own Film Academy
In recent times several classics from Malayalam are being remade into other languages, particularly Telugu and I am not surprised considering the quality of output from Malayalam cinema and Pulimada falls into that list. It’s another feather in the cap for Joju George.
How a simple incident is made into a gripping yet beautiful tale is what this film is all about. Though this hasn’t been revealed in the plot on Wikipedia there are subtle things in the film that normally tend to get ignored but they turn out to be best parts of the film. I am not revealing spoilers here but watch out for Chemban Vinod Jose’s lines in the film. Only these will answer questions you have about the film which makes the plot all the more attractive. Aishwarya Rajesh handles her role well too.
The other surprising element was the use of the Budapest Orchestra for strings in some of the music of the film.
