If you haven’t noticed from our social media already, and since today is International Women’s Day, we’ve dedicated the month of March to the wonderful women of KitMapper. Of course we love our men too. However, we know that most people don’t like to shout about themselves, which is why we are here to do it for you.

No need for your humble brags, ladies. We want to put you in the spotlight. At KitMapper we believe that everyone’s story should be heard, listened to and shared. We’ve created a platform where all are equal and can find common ground in our burning desire to make something from nothing.

So here’s the thing, we want you to send us the projects you are working on. Send us a bio. Send us some images of yourself creating anything. Hopefully, that will spur on the habit of talking about what you do, and involving others in the process.

Men you can help here too! If you have an awesome female friend who you know should be sharing their work, let us know about it. We’re all in this together.

Below is just the start of some women who have sent in their projects.

Kim used 3 Sharp LC-40CFF5221K Widescreen TVs for an installation of her film ‘Sugar in my Bowl’ at Structured Magic in Hoxton Basement. Photo by Manos Chatzikonstantis.
Claire hired a 15" JVC Broadcast Monitor and a pair of Genelec Active Studio Monitors for her installation ‘The arebyte Variations’ at arebyte Gallery.
Lindsey Studholme is a filmmaker, video editor and videographer on KitMapper.
Idoia hired a BenQ W1070+ Short Throw Projector, an Epson EB-XO3, an Optoma GT750, and a Sumvision Cyclone Micro 2+ for her BYOB A/V installation at Art Licks Weekend.
Melanie King KitMapper user, artist and curator with a specific focus on astronomy.
Puck Verkade’s installation at SUNDAY Art Fair included 3 Panasonic LED TV VIERA TX-40C300B LED Tvs and a Sumvision Cyclone Micro 2+ HD media player.
Kamila Cwiklinska is a photographer and filmmaker from Poland, who studied in London, and is now traveling South East Asia focusing on her art.
Donna hired this Barco Video Wall Bundle for an exhibition in Dundee at the NEoN Digital Arts Festival.
New Contemporaries hired Sharp LC-40CFF5221K Flatscreens for their show Bloomberg New Contemporaries.

Keep your eyes on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay updated with our news and giveaways. If you haven’t already go ahead and follow/like us on social media or visit www.kitmapper.com for more. We’re always looking to connect with you and share what kind of projects you’re up to.
