We’re a USWC World Finalist!

It’s official! We’ve been selected by the University Startup World Cup (USWC) to compete in their 2016 global final in Copenhagen for a chance to win $25,000! With just 50 teams being selected from around the world, it’s going to be a tough competition, but we’re excited to be going out to Denmark to showcase KOMPAS to a global community. Last year saw teams from 6 continents pitch a range of ideas and businesses from CleanTech to Travel and everything in-between. This year is set to be even bigger, with the 50 teams coming from 30 countries across the world. As we’re gearing up to launch or mobile application out of BETA, this couldn’t come at better timing, so we’re excited to see what people think. Plus, the final is taking place in the Børsen in Copenhagen, the 17th Century Stock Exchange in the heart of the city.

The University Startup World Cup is organised by Venture Cup, a Danish non-profit organisation with more than 16 years of experience hosting startup competitions. Their vision, is to create a network which can be inspired, benchmark their ideas and turn knowledge into viable high-growth businesses. We’re going to have the opportunity to meet like minded entrepreneurs, investors and global companies, to build partnerships, opportunities and friendships across the world.

On demo day, we’ll be showcasing our application to other businesses, visitors and people interested in what we’re doing, so that we can get a feel for the way people use the application, and find out exactly what people want.
