Despite major reactions on the operation to deport six Turkish citizens from Kosovo, a year later, no one was accused by the Prosecution of Kosovo.

Syle Hoxha, the prosecutor of the Special Prosecution, said they are still collecting evidence on the case.

“We have opened the case last year and we are in the process of collecting evidence. In the meantime, we received the report of the parliamentary committee, which is attached to the case and will be treated as well. So, the case is ongoing, and we are working on it,” he said.

He added that they do not have a name that could be mentioned as accused for this case.

“We are still investigating, and only when the charges are raised, we can give names, for now, we do not have them,” Hoxha said.

The parliamentary inquiry commission has found that there have been 31 legal violations during the deportation of six Turkish nationals known as the Gulenists.
