PDK Chairman Veseli Warns Government Collapse

Kosovo Assembly Speaker, Kadri Veseli, during his visit today in Mitrovica, warned that any government of Kosovo that threatens relations with the US and the Bondsteel base may fall.

Veseli, at the opening of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Mitrovica, said he has withdrawn from the debate on Kosovo’s relations with the United States, because, according to him, it is shameful how the citizens of the country are being treated.

“All Governments can go and but not Bondsteel. No Government can risk eternal relations with the United States. You have noticed that I have withdrawn from this debate and I am ashamed how they are treating our citizen. You can’t do this, we have obligations. There is a constitution and there are laws. Kosovo citizens and institutions protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, “said Veseli.
