Welcome Strattonites and those wanting to join this motley crue of professionals making a dent in Wall Street! We’re getting ready for our June 20th drop titled, “The Hustle”. With this collection we explore the start of the Wolf himself, Jordan Belfort as he arrives to Wall Street starry-eyed with big hopes and dreams for himself.
As you get ready to explore this world with us, we would like to provide you with an overview of how it will go and what to expect.

The Vision:
At LALA, we are creating a new, more immersive fan experience by giving new points of access and ownership to fans. As fans ourselves, we are creating deeper connections to the stories we know and love and want to give our fellow fan community the opportunity to enjoy this new offering together.
We are realizing our vision with this iconic film The Wolf of Wall Street for our very first digital collectibles. Let’s jump into more details below!
Drop 001 Details: The Hustle
What: A collection of digital collectibles exploring the aforementioned theme of The Wolf of Wall Street film.
How is the collection structured?
The Drop 1 collection will feature three tiers for fans to choose from: Director’s Cut, Limited Edition, and General Release.
Why the 3 tiers? Because we want to offer multiple prices to make it accessible for different types of collectors. Each tier will have a different artwork, scarcity, price point, and with it, a different set of perks, and percentage of ownership for the film’s revenue stream.
When is this all happening? To ensure fairness and transparency, we have established a carefully structured timeline. Here’s a quick rundown of our plans leading up to, during, and after Drop 1 on June 20, 2023.
- Pre-Drop: From now until June 20, each week we’ll be sharing blog posts and content — including how the revenue stream model works, the artwork reveal, tier by tier breakdown with perks and pricing, and more. And if you have any questions along the way, we’re here to answer them.
- Drop Day Pre-Sale: On Tuesday June 20, we’ll be opening up a pre-sale exclusively to holders of the Stratton Oakmont movie poster we released. We still have some left, so if you want first dibs on this drop before anyone else, be sure to claim yours here ahead of time.
- Drop Opens: We’ll announce the time closer to June 20th, but the drop will be open to the general public after the pre-sale event that same day. The collectibles will be purchased and minted through our website.
- Post-Drop: After you’ve purchased your LALA x The Wolf of Wall Street collectibles, you’ll be able to view them in your LALA account dashboard. That’s where you’ll also be able to track your rewards and payouts. Some of the perks will be immediately available to you, like the community access, and others will be rolled out in the weeks following the drop, such as our merch capsule collection. Revenue stream payouts will be distributed on a semi-annual basis.
COLLECTIBLE HOLDER BENEFITS:
Supporting global creators. For LALA’s inaugural digital collection, we’ve collaborated with up-and-coming Peruvian artist Paolo Torres to create artwork inspired by the film and The Hustle theme. Your purchase will grant you exclusive ownership of a limited edition digital artwork, providing an opportunity to appreciate and showcase the artwork in the digital realm. Be part of a new fan experience. At LALA, we are big proponents of creating new ways to explore the stories we love in new ways and immerse ourselves in the worlds they take place in. We also believe that the best way to do this is with our fellow fans!
Community: By participating in this first drop, you become part of a vibrant community of movie enthusiasts, collectors, and creators. You will receive access to the LALA community to join, both online and offline, events and activations we organize.
Exclusive Merch: We are producing a capsule collection of merch inspired by the movie and certain items will only be available to drop holders. Based on the tier, you will be given an item to claim for free. In addition, you will receive discounts to other LALA x The Wolf of Wall Street merch we release throughout the year.
Access to unreleased footage: We will be giving collectors a behind the scenes look at how the iconic scenes were filmed or scenes that never made it into the movie.
Share in the profits: This is a fun one! For the first time ever, fans will be able to own a piece of a major motion picture.
- Films generate revenue many different ways, movie ticket sales being the most popular. For this partnership, we secured the rights to collect the revenue recovered from illegal (i.e. bootleg) merch being sold online, and we’re giving that revenue back to the fan community in fractional percentages over time. This not only gives a piece of ownership to fans, but also helps preserve the value and integrity of this IP. It’s a win-win!
- Since this is something that’s first of its kind and never been offered to fans before, we know it can be a bit hard to understand. It really deserves its own blog post, so we’ll do a deep dive into how the revenue stream payouts work in the next week. More on this soon.
