It was indeed a Happy St. Patrick’s Day

The Elm, a Brigadoon Irish Pub
Like many, Irish but for a day
This Irish leprechaun found
her missing treasure.

Wee bit of song singing, for sure
bit more of the gabbin’ and story tellin’ a must
lots of belly laughs to wash away days of sorrow.

Irish gold wasn’t just the drink she swallowed,
whisky, peach, and oj-though tasty as it was
the music and mayhem, the magic
Jester to her left, the comfort
laughter in the air, her oxygen
love all around, the metal for forging life.

It was indeed, the Happiest of St. Patrick’s Days

However, the traditional Irish-American corn beef dinner was truly disappointing. I’m still looking…
