the stirring winds of time
and space
my time and yours
do all the pieces of your life
fit or are they out of place

taking a side trip along the
path to dreams may happen or do
the dreams that fill the spaces of our
minds take us away from what’s right
here and not over there

imagine a world of dreams come
true for all that seek their desires
one can wonder if it would fill
the world with heartfelt emotions
or corrupt the soul

dreams are real when your heart
overflows with gladness and mirth
over the smallest of things yet not
so small
a warm day
a healthy morning
running and playing
the sky always blue
a satisfied belly
a warm coat on wintry days
a swim on hot days
plants and nature rising from
sleep in the spring
