The Lark

A Fairy Tree

Poem — for International Fairy Day

Photo by Anthony Tran on Unsplash

fair is the maiden
who walks the silvery path
she catches wishes upon the tree
the type that last and last

they turn into sparkles
that fly across the sea
to those whose hearts have left
their wish
upon the fairy tree
