A Whispered Secret

In the shadowed garden

I know
in secret,
the touch, the breath,
a glance stolen —
in the shadowed garden,
where the roses
bend and
wilt
under a crescent
moon.

I
am the keeper
of this forbidden
fire, the night
wraps us,
tight as
silk, as
the stars
watch silently.
Our love,
a whispered
secret, echoes,
soft, persistent,
a shadow
etched in
the heart’s
hidden chambers.
