From dawn to dusk we make our own day! It is all in the mindset we enact.

A stir, a stretch, as the inner clock starts to chime,
Birds sing, and dawn breaks across the sky just in time,
A new breath, a new day,
Choices to make, to wake or snooze more time away,
A prayer for guidance, safety, and blessing,
Our light shines as we follow the set path of sharing and giving,
Colors bright and bold,
As the touch of dust becomes cold,
Prayers of thankfulness and forgiveness as we lay down to close our eyes,
Knowing we have been blessed as we take one last look at the starlit skies.
