Carry Me With You

I felt the droplets of humidity hit the bloody cut on my chest. Something flew; hit me as I threw something else the opposite way. It’s not the picture I left you, not the one nuzzled in your empty wallet as you attempt to hitch a ride on the dull golden road. It’s still there with you under the beautiful setting sun surrounded by wet green, everything I enjoyed seeing.
