A black and white picture of a young, dark-haired woman wearing a black robe sitting with her knees pulled up to her chin, arms wrapped around her legs, looking down.

My mind’s a swirling vortex,
thoughts jumbled and entwined,
engulfed by the darkness
pervading the very depths of my soul.

Lethargy consumes me
along with her sister, Apathy,
both controlled by their mother,
Depression.
