Drunk in Love in Tennessee

You were walking all around like a fantasy,
It sounds so much like heresy.
I was roaming around the streets of Tennessee,
Running into you like my destiny.
We both danced away that night in ecstasy,
And drank together to feel light and groovy.
There was sparkling wine on your lips and old fashioned for me,
I was like young Ashton and you were the goddess Demi.
Leaving you alone that night would have been blasphemy,
We were close together and you were breathing heavily.
We stayed up all night when we realized it was morning already,
So I gave you my jacket and drove you back in my Chevy.
Your scent tends to linger on me despite wearing many,
My bourbon of pain and joy was blended together in Tennessee.
