Father’s Day

A poem about my father

Photo by Tim Mossholder on Unsplash

Father’s Day is here
But Dad you are not near
Heaven has taken you
To be with mum
And everyone who has gone.

The memories are still clear
Of the times you brought me
To the park
To the beach
To the ice skating rink
On the day I wore pink.
