Floating Down

A sonnet

Floating on life’s river feeling at ease,
Still, quite some distance to travel downstream,
Hoping that we may reach those endless seas,
Remembering what had transpired upstream.

Branches continue branching to the source,
Rain falls, gathering long past memories,
Beavers dam lets cool waters trickle forth,
To wash these…
