Setting forests on fire is a crime against Nature

Arsonists cackle with hideous delight
as they plot their terrible crime deep inside the forest
and set fire with sadistic intent, combustion unleashed wantonly.

Flames swallowed woods, the majestic trees turned into ash
hapless animals, birds, insects roasted alive
martyrs to human savagery.

Bellowing flames darken the sky, screams of dying animals unheard
charred bodies litter the smoldering earth
unnamed victims of human perfidy.

The gods watch with horror from the skies
as their chosen species enacts its gory spectacle
and rue making humans in their own image.

Pyromaniacs, thou shall burn eternally in inferno
no mercy for you as the ghosts of the massacred creatures
wait for their turn to roast you.

Vile firebugs, thou shall rot in hell
as your victims cast you to flames
thou shall know the pain of burning.

Incendiaries, thou shall not rest in peace in your tombs
as infamy and Nature’s curse stalk you forever
wreaking vengeance for your monstrous crime.

Monstrous perfidy, thy name is human
as Nature keeps the score
and inflicts its retribution on its own terms.
