Hmm, hmm, Girlfriend, not thinking.

She went mentally AWOL when she swiped on that Hinge Dating App and found herself having hot and sweaty sex with up-and-coming film director Oliver in the back seat of a NY Taxi on Broadway after a meetup for cocktails at Bemelmans Bar on E 76th St.

Ollie, her nickname for him, awakened her sexual ennui, making her feel like Enda Pontellier, her dormant desire coming alive after a long hiatus. Her juiced-up erogenous zones could not get enough of him, but she wanted to be cool, play it safe, not get too attached.

So she swiped right again and found Jake, a musician from the Big Apple who, according to his profile, enjoys cozy dinners, a good bottle of Bordeaux, cuddling up on the couch, and watching foreign films. Blue the Warmest Color, his favorite.

Girlfriend has it going on swiping this way and that. Frankly, I’m quite happy for her since she’s been in a slump since Eric, her last legit boyfriend of seven months, told her she was “too possessive” and he wasn’t looking for anything under the category of possession.

Girlfriend considered what Eric said and thought he was being selfish and vowed not to get too possessive with anyone after that. Like, why should she? She had been a…
