In companies you have applied a lot.
But a romance internship you forgot?

No, the high school love doesn’t count,
Carefree idiots, forgive me, I discount.

The toxic first love when you are twenty
Here insecurity and jealousy are plenty.

Where you are ready to let go of a dream,
When a two-year relationship is supreme.

A tit-for-tat system works like a charm.
Breaks from each other do only harm.

Either on a pedestal or a ditch,
You have put the asshole/bitch.

Letting go of hobbies one-by-one,
Neglecting yourself you begin.

The ever evident promise of change
On the horizon never looks strange.

Unable to express stress past her,
Avoiding conflicts you will master.

Ample room for learning the internship offers,
Leaving will surely fill your coffers.
