Oasis rest,
sun caressed,
held abreast
Indra’s nest.

Urban bred,
lost my step,
going left,
leapt the bend.

Scorpion friend,
cacti den,
the serene teal twilight
rocks me to bed.

Fleeing fluorescent fret,
I found my step,
befriending solitude
in this desert rest.
