On the Concept of Time

There is never enough time.
Free time
Quality time
Productive time.
We’re always in a hurry to be on time.
Always chasing things
but lacking time.
Running
Yearning
Reaching
Striving
towards the highest commodity of all
Time.
But what if we burst the bubble
Break the chain
Pull down the veil
Stop the illusion?
Stop… time.
Tick-tock
Tick-tock
Tick-tock
It’s time to let go of time.
Reject abstract concepts devoid of substance
an oxymoronic existence,
Constructs meant to bring our wild natures to heel
without resistance,
Confines in which our spirits perform
lacking abundance.
Molds
Patterns
Chains
Lies.
Relinquish time. Be free.
