On Writing a Poem

My thoughts on writing a poem

Once obsessed with a thought
Words line up to fit in their slots
Desired similies help the plots
Dreams drive the rest to a halt
Reels redeem the past to cast
Truths and myths give a twist
Rules from books cure the lot
A theme I deem I have at last
Hearty wishes show up the most
Missing Moments are never the best
Loss and pain beats that race
Bracing my soul at their pace!
