Don’t be afraid
there is no distance
under our star
to hold two apart
providing air
atmosphere and breath
flows back and forth
between our bodies.

You, bright and new
finding your own grove
surrounded by
flowers and branches
and as you reach
the top of your tree
our star feeds you
photosynthesis.

Me, eyes agape
fixed to the sounds
vibrating bells
wind sweeping through chimes
revealing all
to feed my spirit
as rays rain down
feeding me your love.

So do not fear
the unknown ahead
look to the sky
a pinhole of light
radiating
through the tapestry
my star shining
onto your body.
