OUR TIME IS UP

A poem about mother nature.

You shall feel her anger and her thunder upon you like a vengeful past coming back to haunt you... to haunt us

What a beautiful and lustrous place until like everything else, they were touched by the hands of man

A tragedy unfolding before our very eyes-
and we are too egotistical to pay attention to the signs

The trees being destroyed the grounds with fracking and pipelines discarded waste
until there's nothing left

and she shall come for every man, woman, and child's breath

Tsunami, volcanoes, droughts and monsoons,
cyclones, tornadoes, quakes and typhoons,
forest fires, heat waves, droughts, and landslides

Now is not the time to be scared
there's nowhere to run or hide
earthquakes, heat waves, ice storms, and hail
shall come from the Earth with her Battle cry she will prevail

disease and fathom no one's immune
no place to run no place to comune
and it shall bring down equal justice
whether…
