Painted Smiles

Those Picasso-painted smiles will fool no one.
They fail to conceal your shallow lies, deceit, and duplicity.
Guernica, the pain you inflicted on innocent hearts will not easily be forgotten. The conceit you purvey is a two-dimensional illusion.
You try to hold down those who want to take wings by seeking to be the dioptric light through which they view your canvas.
Crying tears of pearls, you feign empathy.
Cast in this light, all one sees is the surface.
