Phone Call Went Wrong

Just now I received a phone call.
Learned that you are no more.
When I met you last Sunday,
you sat leaning to the left.
The world was on your shoulders.
I should have spent some time,
some more time with you!
But while I was confused
with the decision to
stay by your side
that phone call
went wrong.

Please don’t ask me
who was calling me that day!
You may wonder whether
I was interested in squandering
my youthful moments
with an old man like you,
honestly speaking,
I do not tolerate wastage!
