Woman’s child close.
You are far away
From me. Separated.

I am the one who
Cleans her floors.
Cooks her food.
Wipes her husband’s
Tears away.
Drying my own.
I sleep.

I left you there
Went far away.
To keep you safe.
So you can grow.
