The hearse of Himalayas
you sat with his coffin
enjoying the drive
axe, hammer, thump
so joyfully you shout
and in bits and pieces, the Himalayas fall

Brittle is his soul
seracs dangerously inclined and about to fall
crevasses an open wound
agape his mouth, with the endeavors of the audacious man
dare you not touch them at’ll
ice forms like idols of God
worship them from afar
One hammer and slowly he hisses to the ground
like a lost colony of an empire rubble
moaning it comes down
ignoring you walk ahead
to see your endurance, to reach a victory, a joy that eluded your life
Huh! leave him alone
let him breathe
let them chatter among themselves
They have a world of their own
he is meditating
don't you encroach his wall

A refuse for mortals to play
Of dreams and ambition lilliputian
A dwarf you can say
Bathed in ego and lust
plucking his heart
we walked with harness against his silent walls
Resilience was the vision
Transcending all pain
and let
human corpse
encroach his inner space
Do you realize he was breathless for a while
breathed shallow so that your dreams thrive
and his endurance failed many a time

Each crampon boot that landed on his chest
To win a feat,
a display of victory
in the inseminate corridors of this world
He breathed slowly
A sage, a monk
And his sagacity grew each day
And we remained tiny and selfish
like we are!
