Spiritual Code

A poem

A fresco of angels from Austria

Principles pulled from the same soup
Christianity coded into my fabric
Like a DNA sequence-
Coded into the spiritual fabric
Of secular humanism.
My ethical substance
Into societal dogma.

Every song a song
Our hearts were beating for
Before it was manifest-
Pulled forth from the spiritual code.
