I opened my eyes and saw Peter’s angry stare as his hand tapped my pocket. The charm was in there and he knew it.

“I know what you’ve got in your pocket. I want to know where you got it from but do not take it out. Do not touch it,” he said.

“Peter… I can explain. It’s not what you think. I can touch this charm. It doesn’t do anything to me. It doesn’t work as yours does. Trust me. I’m telling the truth,” I explained hoping he would listen.

But I could see his eyes change color which meant he was upset.

“Tell me where you got it. I have to know why there are two of them.”

“Okay. I got it while I was transported in Dr. Darrell’s chair. I must have been in another dimension because I saw a character from a TV show that I usually watch and he was holding the charm. I took it from him and put it in my pocket and then, the next minute, I was back in the chair. I opened my eyes and felt the charm still in my pocket. It was strange that I’d brought something back with me and… I was fascinated by it — but honestly… I can’t remember why I took it, or if I did take it… something doesn’t…
