Chapter 1 — gone but not forgotten
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. Perhaps there were long ago, but that is no longer the case. Over a millennia ago, dragons ruled the skies, dominated the lands, and frequently perched themselves on the sea cliffs searching for krakens and hydras to satisfy their gargantuan appetites. However, as man encroached the Valley, the dragons started to disappear.
