The world is burning, the oceans rise,
Our planet’s fate, a dire surprise.
The air we breathe, the water we drink,
Polluted by greed, our future on the brink.

The metaphor of fire, a symbol of our plight,
As we watch our world burn, consumed by our blight.
The ice, a reminder of what we stand to lose,
As the glaciers melt, and the seas refuse.

Our leaders turn a blind eye, to the damage we’ve done,
Ignoring the signs, as we race towards the sun.
But we must resist, and fight for our home,
For the sake of our children, and the world they’ll roam.

We must stand together, and demand a change,
For the sake of our planet, and all that remains.
Let us be the fire, that ignites a new dawn,
And the ice that cools, the flames of destruction gone.
